Random Going’s On

We continue to plod through the Winter months. Everyone's favorite question is always "What do you do all Winter?" People just assume if there is no grass mowing going on that we do not have anything to do, as if all we do is mow grass. It astounds me how many people simply do not understand or appreciate maintenance. Most people have one house and a relatively small plot of land so should have a feel for the amount of work it takes to keep them functioning and looking nice. We have several buildings and a large parcel of land. The repetition of daily mowing may be gone but there is always something to do. Every day, and every year is different. We have kept the course playable but mostly have concentrated on equipment and shop improvements. Eventually we will get to some much needed tree work. In the meantime we do whatever maintenance is required as the weather allows. Some snippets below:
