Life in the country

I was not as surprised this time when told we had a horse loose on the course. Just as concerned since the damage caused could be substantial. The timing certainly was not good right before the last tourney of the year. We were on these greens literally minutes before this happened. One of the players saw a white horse as he drove in to play in the Beef Stew. It went back and forth across 15 and 16 a couple of times. Why just those two? The prints were repaired and could have been worse but did show themselves again after the last aeration and topdressing so have not fully healed. I thought of putting a sign by the 16th green reading No Horses Allowed but wasn't sure they could read.
